My legs are very sore right now. Sore from a day of working out, tackling various house painting projects and a night of sober dancing. Does this mean I’m getting old? I think it does but I’m going with it. So I’ll sip some Gatorade this morning, do an extra stretch or two and try not to hobble like a complete grandma for the rest of the day. While I do that, you can enjoy these links from around the web this week!
Happy Easter, friends! It’s been a quiet, lazy morning at the Erickson household but we’re gearing up for an afternoon of yard work, basement work, laundry work and freelance work. In the words of Rihanna, work work work work work. If you need a distraction from your family gatherings or your afternoon of work, enjoy the links below from around the web this week.
I’m a day behind schedule around here but look at that list of links! That’s enough to keep you clicking, scrolling and learning from the internet for the rest of the evening. Enjoy!
I am typing this as I put on a coat and run out the door to a birthday party (second one this weekend!). So I’ll keep it brief and leave you with some links from around the web this week. Enjoy!
What a weekend it has been! I had some friends and their misters in town for the last few days and it has been nothing short of wonderful. They were so tolerant of the construction zone we call home, love Minneapolis and didn’t gripe too much when I served them severely under cooked cinnamon rolls this morning. Those are good people, amiright?! Now I’m putzing around the house, listening to this on repeat and trying to get my act together for the week ahead. Enjoy these links from around the web while I muster the strength to do a load of laundry or five.
This daylight savings stuff isn’t really doing it for me. I feel like the morning has already slipped away! I’ll try and type fast so I can get back to painting the dining room (this color!) and enjoying this sunny Sunday. Enjoy, friends!
A weekend wrap up on a Monday is pretty normal around here so this post should come as no surprise. What’s surprising, though, is the tornado warning Minneapolis is currently experiencing. Definitely doesn’t feel like an early March evening around these parts! I’m going to hunker down and catch up after a weekend away and watch the storm roll in. Enjoy these links from around the web while I do just that!
This weekend didn’t end up exactly as I had hoped. If things had gone how I planned I’d be waking up in my childhood bedroom right now after a day spent with my brother, sisters, nephews and mom but the snowstorm that tackled most of Wisconsin late last week had other plans for me and kept me in MN. So I woke up in my own bed in Minneapolis with a giant dog hogging the covers. I’ve got cinnamon rolls in the oven to make me feel better and some links from around the web to distract me. Here’s hoping the weather cooperates next weekend!
Happy Sunday, friends! The last two nights I’ve fallen asleep before the clock has hit double digits to that means I’m officially very old but also very well-rested and ready to tackle the day. It’s shaping up to be a great one! We’ve got a load of friends and family coming over to help with our basement project (thank you!!), I’m tackling some work outside before it snows next week and then I’m curling up by the fire with Harry Potter. Enjoy these links from around the web while I order pizza for our helpers!
How is it already 6:30 on Sunday night?! I’m not ready for the weekend to end or the week ahead! Between a big work photo shoot, life and the current state of our home reno the hours are going to continue to fly by. I’m going to soak up a few more hours before the chaos hits. Hope you do the same and enjoy these links from around the web this week.
