One thing I knew for sure when we started wedding planning was that I wanted to do a first look. Once we actually booked our venue, it actually became somewhat essential schedule-wise so we could use the space efficiently for the limited event hours. Either way, I got what I wanted and our first look is something I’ll always treasure. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the look on my Red Head’s face.
This is one of my favorite shots of the guys. I’m not sure what it is about it, but I’m blowing it up and framing it in our home.
The best gals I could ever ask to have by my side. In that small collection, I’ve got decades of friendships, thousands of stories, memories and inside jokes, and indescribable relationships I’ll always treasure.
The dapper fellas. Also a collection of decades of friendship and probably much more scandalous stories than my ladies!
Just have to take a second here and give the weather some kudos. Thank you for cooperating! Your perfect temperatures, clear skies and beautiful sunlight made our day extra perfect.
Flower girl dresses were from J.Crew and the shoes were snagged at Target (similar to these, but gold).
We were lucky enough to have our wedding officiated by my best friend’s dad. Having known their family since I was three, it was so special to have him and his wife involved in our ceremony.
Instead of a unity ceremony, we opted to write our vows and lock them away with a bottle of wine to be opened on our tenth wedding anniversary. Until then, it’s on display in our living room. The box was an Etsy find and it turned out beautiful!
MARRIED!
