Six months ago, The Red Head and I booked a trip to Morocco and the day of departure has finally arrived! It’s been quiet around here this week in-between the pre-travel errands, laundry and hours at work but it’s about to get even quieter because we’ll be in Casablanca next week with limited internet access (woohoo!). For occasional real-time updates, follow along here and I’ll catch when we’re back on U.S. soil!
After a week at home the Red Head and I are loading up the car for another family adventure. Our destination this time? Door County. Bring on the cheese, wine, nephew cuddles, beach time and family dinners. It’s going to be a wild few days!
After a wild week of house projects, late nights, early mornings and a dash of stress the Red Head and I are heading to Myrtle Beach for his annual family vacation! We’ll be soaking up the sun, swimming in the ocean (I’m the only one that ever goes in the water!), reading books, riding go karts (Red’s request) and checking out the sites before we’re back next week. I’ll see you then. Have a wonderful weekend!
On the way home from work today I made a pit stop at the library and stocked up on books for upcoming travels. I’ve got this one, this one and this one all waiting for their vacation debut! Until then, we just need to pack, clean, wrap up a busy week at work, find someone to wrangle our dog while we’re gone and take some deep breaths. Easier said than done!
This afternoon I’m hitting the road and not stopping until I arrive at Governor Dodge State Park. That location can mean only one thing: annual girls’ camping trip! This is our eighth year of adventures and I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around it. One thing is for sure, though, there will be plenty of onion dip, pretzels, chips, campfires and laughs. Can’t wait!
I mentioned a couple weeks ago that the Red Head and I booked a big trip this fall… a big trip to Morocco!! It’s been on our radar for awhile but we decided to bite the bullet, book tickets and never look back. This October we’ll be spending a week in Casablanca and will explore a couple other cities with day trips. To say we’re excited would be a major, major understatement. So bear with me as I’m pinning Morocco to-do lists and modest fashions, OK? Thanks!
