Many moons ago, I studied abroad in Rome and this weekend two of my roomies from that semester adventure are heading to Minneapolis! I am so, so pumped to show these gals the city, sip wine and reminisce while making some St.Patrick’s Day memories. See you on Sunday!
After the weather blunder last weekend I’ve postponed my Chicago trip and am hitting the road this afternoon! I’m ready for 36 hours with family, friends and some serious podcasting on the way there. Catch you Sunday!
Oh my word, a weekend in Florida was just what I needed! The last couple days with best friends, temperatures in the 80s and far too many Piña Coladas has left me feeling rejuvenated (and maybe with a lingering headache). The very full inbox this morning brought me back to Earth pretty quick but I’ll keep scrolling through my sunny pics when I need a little virtual Vitamin D boost!
I’m packing up a weekend bag, dropping of the dog at daycare, picking up some dear friends and hopping on a plane to sunny Florida tomorrow. The timing is perfect and the change of scenery will be very, very welcome. While grey might be my favorite color, I’m ready for some blue skies and green grass. I’ll see you next week, if I ever return!
Despite the traffic jam we experienced yesterday, heading to Chicago this weekend was the perfect post-Black Friday therapy. There was an impressive brunch spread, an abundance of family traditions, an over-used selfie stick and lots of laughs. Also, wine. Plenty of wine. I’m hoping for more of all of those things sooner rather than later and hope you had a wonderful holiday as well!
Shout out to my nephew who snapped this pic with his finger covering half the lens. I love it!
Not to be super boring and only talk about the weather for two days straight but CAN YOU SEE THOSE BLUE SKIES? I never thought I’d be wandering the streets of New York City in November with no jacket and spending Sunday afternoons in my Minneapolis backyard comfortably playing with that giant grey dog of mine. T’was a wonderful few days of sunshine and adventure, let’s hope it continues!
Another weekend, another wedding. That might just become the Erickson households’ new motto. We’re jetting off again and this time we’re heading to the east coast. We’ve got a few days in New Jersey, a day in NYC and hopefully some Z’s on the flight because this old lady stayed up too late watching the Cubs WIN THE WORLD SERIES! What?! The snapchats of my sister in Wrigleyville last night looked like something else. I’m sure the city will be abuzz for weeks to come. Have a great one, friends!
Wooohooo! It’s Friday, guys! Despite a lingering cold, I’m am so excited for the weekend ahead. Date night with my Red Head, a Menards run in the morning, a quick trip to Kentucky and a quiet Sunday back at home. Let’s do this!
Even though we’ve been back for more than a week now, I still haven’t fully processed our trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi (and a little adventure in Seattle as well!). I have, however, managed to gather some of my favorite snaps for the faucethead blog. Check them out there!
