Christmas Cards & Calendar by Pinhole Press

December 2, 2013

ebb & flow :: pinhole press calendar

If you follow my adventures on Instagram, you may have noticed some sneak peeks of our holiday cards and Pinhole Press projects the last couple weeks. Having ordered numerous calendars as gifts from Pinhole Press in the past, I was so excited when they reached out to me about making holiday cards this year. Of course, I was happy to accept and so excited to have beautiful well-made cards to send to family and friends across the country.

Having never sent holiday cards before, I was a bit overwhelmed at the idea, but Pinhole Press made it so simple and fun! And a perfect fit for our first year as a family. Of course, we had beautiful photos from our favorite guy, Brandon Werth, to help complete the process.

Of all the cards (there are so many GREAT options!), the Swiss Dot Holiday Photo Card rose to the top of our list. We placed the order and they arrived within the week, so I have no excuses for not sending these on time this year!

Can you tell we love our pup? Who wants a card of our face when you can stare at that mug instead?

To top it all of, I also made a desk calendar (to be used in the never-ending office remodel) for 2014 featuring some favorite photos from Instagram. I was a bit nervous about the Instagram pictures being poor resolution, but they printed beautifully and I can’t wait to relive the memories throughout 2014.

Before the holidays sneak up, be sure to place your order with Pinhole Press, you will not be disappointed, I promise.

ebb & flow :: mailing wedding invites

Almost exactly six months later and at least 70 degrees warmer from our sending of save the dates, wedding invitations are in the mail! I’m already having nightmares about them tearing open in transit, ending up back at my doorstep and causing chaos in my life so I’m doing what any responsible person would do, I’m ditching town for the weekend. Here’s hoping I don’t return to any invite snafus and the Red Head’s paper cuts from assembly heal quickly.

E & C: Save the Dates

February 26, 2013

If you follow me on Instagram and Twitter you probably noticed a lot of chatter a few weeks back about save the dates. They have been printed, stamped, sealed and shipped so I thought I’d share here as well.

For our save the dates, we wanted to keep it simple so we opted for black ink and a spot of metallic on the front to highlight the ampersand and the wedding date.

Of course, we had to showcase one of our favorite photos by Brandon Werth.

We’re pulling kraft paper accent into the wedding so we figured the envelopes would be a great place to start the trend.

Finishing details were super easy (and low cost!) thanks to some custom stamps from Simon’s Stamps. Printing was done by Superior Impressions out of Toldeo, OH and we are so happy with how they turned out. Next up: invitations!

If you’re interested, here’s a dorky photo of me mailing the lot.

Privet House for Target

April 30, 2012

A large box arrived at my door the other day (first thought: YES! I can use that to pack stuff!) and it was filled with sneak peek items from the new Privet House collection for Target. I’m sure you’ve heard by now and have seen the commercials, but Target is going to feature four small stores in their ‘Shops at Target’ concept and I, for one, am excited. The Privet House candle, canvas bag, stationery set and wire birdhouse I received were pretty awesome and I know there’s plenty more up those Target and small shop sleeves.
