The latest addition to the minimalist jewelry wishlist is this beauty from Moorea Seal. Made in the USA, rose gold and visually interesting. Yes, please.

I’ve got enough costume jewelry to choke a horse, but one thing I’ve been drawn to lately is delicate and simple pieces of quality jewelry. Oftentimes I can’t justify the cost (I’m currently on a spending freeze… If you need a reason why, please look at the Red Head’s new ride!) so at least admiring is free! And Vrai & Oro and Moorea Seal have plenty to see.

A pair of simple and beautiful earrings to start of your week. They’re currently sold out, but still pretty to look at.

Agates and beautiful stones always make me think of my Grandma. I’m not entirely sure why but it I do have a memory of an agate coaster set in her home and a sinking suspicion that she was the sole contributor to my short-lived rock collection growing up. What a woman. I just might have to get an agate necklace from Margaret Elizabeth to relive the memory.

For our wedding I may have gone a little overboard on details at times, but one of my favorite details happened by fate. That item was a custom hairpiece made by Ahndea May. I met with her about six months before our wedding after winning a giveaway through our wedding coordinator and was, right away, in love with her work and energy. She took a mismatch of jewelry from my mom’s jewelry box and created a hairpiece that I can’t wait to lend to my sister on her wedding day and display among my pretties for years to come. Thanks, Ahndea. I’m already looking for an excuse to work with you again.

We are long overdue for a giveaway around these parts and Novica has delivered! I’m sure you’re familiar with the awesome National Geographic brand that sells artisan goods from around the world. They have everything from hammocks to margarita glasses, dresses and table lamps, and I was recently lucky enough to acquire some jewelry to call my own. My right hand now dons the ‘Eagle Honor’ ring from Ghana and I’m also digging the ‘Morning Light’ bangle from India I ordered. As always, they arrived quickly in beautiful packaging with handwritten notes from the artists. The best part about the company, though, is that you have a chance at making some Novica goods your own as well! Novica is offering one winner a $50 gift card to use on any purchase on their site! Simply, leave a comment below telling me your favorite item from the site and I’ll contact the randomly chosen winner next Monday. Can’t wait to see what you have your eye on. Good luck!
UPDATE: Congratulations to Leah! Check your email, my dear.
