I’m still in spending freeze mode, but I’ve been jones-ing for some Bumble and bumble surf spray. Not wanting to shell out $25 I think I might try and concoct my own. This recipe and this recipe seem promising, have any of you ever tried it? I’m hoping this spray will be that little something I need to wear my hair down more often. It’s a beast that needs to be let down every now and then. Wish me luck!

I’m not sure what Halloween entails in Prague (where I’ll be for the 31st) but if the occasion arises I could definitely use an excuse to embrace already frizzy hair. This tutorial, depending on my resources overseas, could definitely come in handy. Bookmarked.

Good afternoon, friends. Sorry for the radio silence yesterday. The computer is still out of commission, the Red Head arrived for a visit and, quite honestly, I enjoyed a night off with nothing to do but watch Modern Family. But I couldn’t stay away too long (I like you all that much) so I’m using the computer at work to bring you some inspiration today.
First up, hair. Every single day I go to work with sopping wet hair (even today with the -13 degree temps) in one of three styles: the messy bun, the side braid or the side pony. Lame sauce. It’s time for me to learn how to properly tame this mane. I’m thinking the images above might be a good place to start. They’re not too different from what I’m already doing but would make me feel a bit more polished. Any suggestions on quick hair styles or products you swear by? I’d love to hear. If it changes anything, I have long, thick blond hair that has a tendency to get a bit wavy on me.
