Well, the woman knows what she likes.
Maybe it’s my ongoing love for our dining room refresh but I just can’t get enough of this green hue lately!

Currently looking for a way to incorporate this dusty blushy rosy color into my life.

I’ve mentioned it about 45 times but the dining room went green this weekend and I AM OBSESSED. The color is called Great Barrington Green and, in person, it looks like an old green chalkboard and a summer camp had a baby. Are you following me? It’s better than I ever imagined and I can’t wait to put the finishing touches on this space. After that all my energy is going into our basement renovation. All of the walls have been framed, mood boards have been created, finishes have been purchased and I am antsy to see it all come together. Keep you posted on that front. In the meantime, I’ll be staring into my Great Barrington Green walls. Totally normal…

Though it wouldn’t match a single thing in our house or life, I’m really digging this light blush hue I’m seeing everywhere in home and interior design. Maybe it’s just a sign that winter will eventually end one day but I can’t get enough of it!

Every day for about the last week, I’ve spent some time out in the garage spray painting. Everything is going gold at the Erickson casa, it seems, and first up was this steal of a bench from IKEA. We needed a seat (we had been using the bench from our dining room) for the desk in our living room and at $24.99 and about $15 in spray paint, this one fit the bill. Let’s see how it holds up to everyday use, that will be the real test!

Insert all the heart-eye emojis for this color palette. A little 80’s, a lot of awesome.

The weekends around here are starting to feel more and more like summer, are you feeling it too? I’m traveling the next few days but the Red Head has big plans of getting boats in the water so I’m hoping to return to that happy sight on Sunday! Then we can say summer has officially begun. Fingers crossed that the sun gets the memo!
