About

I’m so glad you stumbled upon my little slice of internet real estate. It only seems proper, since you’re here, to get to know each other a bit, don’t you think? I’ll go first, while you brainstorm…

After 18 years filled with art classes, craft projects and failed attempts at ceramics, my passion for art and design led me to Iowa State University. Through four years of hard work, various internships and even a four-month stint in Rome, I managed to graduate with degrees in graphic design and advertising. Shortly after, I was fortunate enough to join the team at faucethead creative, a boutique graphic design firm outside of Chicago. There I discovered my love of blogging, my inner HTML-coder and my interest in the future of the web and social media.

Recently, the 10,000 lakes up North have been calling my name and I moved to Excelsior, Minnesota. While I still continue working with faucethead creative, I spend the majority of my day as an interactive designer for the Mall of America. It’s an exciting start to the next chapter of my life and I can’t wait to see what else lies ahead. I’m also very curious if the winters up here are really that bad. Wish me luck, I’ll find out soon enough!

I spend most of my time away from work either on a spin bike, scouring flea markets for the next great find, living vicariously through book characters or blogging on my design and lifestyle blog, ebb & flow. I’m always up for a travel adventure, sharing a bag of BBQ Potato Chips or a Harry Potter movie marathon.

But, enough about me. Let me know a little about you and how I can help with your next project. Visit the contact page and we’ll figure out the best way to team up. I am already looking forward to hearing from you. And don’t leave me hanging on this one. No one likes a one-sided relationship.
